Join Safe-T-Sense’s professional and growing safety team where you can make a positive difference in someone’s life every day. At STS you will provide industrial functional safety related controls advice and industry best practices to our customers. This role is not traditionally a great fit for traditional HSE (Health Safety and Environment) personnel, as the role heavily depends on an understanding of machine controls and the related potentially hazardous energy sources.
A mid-level safety position, if you have a passion for safety, a willingness to learn and love the idea of helping people return home with the same number of fingers and toes they showed up to work with, then this position will be a great fit for you. As a Safety Services Engineer, your primary responsibility will consist of corresponding professionally with our customers and assisting them with properly identifying and quantifying risks related to their industrial machinery or application. You will help develop safety solutions engineered to reduce their risks to an acceptable level of safety. You may also verify architecture designs to keep personnel safe when working on or near the industrial environment and conduct on-site validation of safety systems.
Safety Services Engineers provide guidance to a vast array of industries, including automotive, food and beverage, personal care, machine tools, tissue and paper, consumer goods, packaging, metal forming, rides and entertainment, AGVs, robotics, commodity chemicals and many more. Therefore, it is unlikely that working for STS, will result in working on the same boring application every day.
